AIM OF THE CONFERENCE

In the last decades we have seen the development of a new way to understand natural complex phenomena occurring in growth, turbulence and decay. This new science has been called chaos, fractals, complexity or nonlinear science. It offers new ways to find some kind of order where we had found unpredictable randomness This science brings toghether methods and reserchers from different fields, separated in the tradition: physics, mathematics, economy, engineering, biology, medicine, mind science, arts. The question of the Congress concerns the capability and usefulness of unified shared tools for the analysis of complex systems, and/or common models between different disciplines.
